Qigong – Finding inner balance, enhancing health
Have you tried Tai Chi and not kept up with it, or are you like me and get hopelessly lost in the sequence of movements? Explore Qigong! This ancient Chinese practice uses moving postures, standing postures, and breathing techniques along with focused intention as a means to increase and balance our body’s natural energy. Our focus in class will be on easy to learn movements, but will also include standing and seated meditations and topics exploring the 5 element system and how to live in accord with the energetic cycles of our bodies and our environment.
Wear comfortable clothing that will allow for free movement. Elastic waistbands suggested to allow for breathwork.
